Description:
The new Golden Aquatic Centre will be constructed on the site of the existing outdoor pool and next to the existing Golden and District Recreation Centre and the Golden Curling Rink building. The project is a Construction Management contract and the facility will include:
- Six (6) lane 25m lap pool and separate leisure pool with spray features, beach entry, tot’s zone, and lazy river. Both tanks including zero entry ramps for increased accessibility.
- Hot pool.
- Lobby space that will allow for formal and informal gatherings.
- Universal and Gendered change rooms.
- Administration including reception, offices and pool control areas.
- Multi-purpose room.
