GO Transit – Hamilton Bus Maintenance and Storage Facility

Description:

This project involves the design and construction of a 67,000 square foot bus maintenance and storage facility. The facility was constructed to store up to 36 buses indoors, and includes outdoor parking for buses and other vehicles. The facility us equipped with an indoor bus fueling facility, bus repair bays, and bus wash system. The employee amenities include washrooms, showers, lockers, a lunchroom with kitchenette, a lounge area, office space, meeting rooms, training facilities, a fitness centre, and storage rooms.

This project achieved LEED® Gold certification upon its completion.
