Description:
Buttcon has been awarded as the Construction Manager for an exciting and innovative new project with Horizon Legacy Group (HLG).
HLG announced in Aug, 2021 that it will finance and build the first and largest 3D printed neighborhood in Canada, pioneering the use of robots and automation in multi-storey building construction. This project is born out of the Marco Polo 100 Digital Build Challenge which was created to solve the problem of affordable housing by asking participants from all over the world to design multi-storey buildings using new technologies and processes.
Buttcon will work with the participants, architects and designers to prepare the site and to construct their designs in the Town of Gananoque, Ontario starting in April 2022.
